Everyone irrespective of caste and religion is welcome to Chathan Madom.

The idols of worship at Chathan madom are deities such as Mayachatan, Karimkutty, and Karineeli, which is an important primitive Dravidian deity concept in Kerala's worship tradition.

The main idol of worship in the Madom is Kuttichathan. The Pakanar Sampradayam of the Pariyapeta Pantirukula is practiced here, the Gurusthaniya Pakanaras are inside the Kottil, and Malamkurathi, who was the Upasana Murti of the Pakanars, is settled in the Valkannadi in the Kali Sampradayam.

Here it is important not to think about the problem of individuals but to solve it

The pujas and karmas here are performed in the Malavara system, mainly for business related matters, remedies for the evils of enemies and life's troubles are done here.

The main offerings to Swami are chicken, toddy and bran. And Kalashas are mainly made. "Amavasi" pooja is performed every month, on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, Chenkuruti, Karinkuruthi and Veetkarma are also performed.

I don't have any hereditary siddhi to say, this siddhi has been achieved by hard work, self-effort, study and service, only by Guruvtvam.

On this day, I pray that everyone will be able to live a good life by giving them life, health, knowledge, wisdom, prosperity and wealth.
